Happy May Fellow Birders and Photographers. I saw my first of year Wood Thrush, Hummingbird and Oriole this morning-very exciting. And speaking of exciting, the month of April certainly was. Fran and I covered a lot of ground. We hit Brigantine, Barnegat, Bombay Hook, Middle Creek, Pennypack Trust, Peace Valley and spent 10 days on Florida's west coast. It was really difficult to limit the number of images in this months post. To view the images as a slideshow with music (those of you using a tablet or mobile device will probably not hear the soundtrack), hit the SLIDESHOW tab in the upper right. All of the images are copyright by me, Harris Brown, and may not be used for any purpose without written permission. Your feedback is always welcome.
Enjoy the images and see you on the trails.

wonderful! every time i look at your bird portraits, i learn something new about that bird. about the feathering, the bill, the coloring….
and nice music, especially with the gulls in the background. thank you for these.
Excellent photos as usual. I was wondering where you saw the Black Hooded Parakeet then saw that you spent 10 days on the west coast of Florida. I have been to Florida's west coast five times and always enjoy the bird life there.
