First I hope that you and your family are safe and did not sustain much damage from hurricane Sandy. My October gallery really started the last few days of September with a great morning on the beach at Stone Harbor Point and a spectacular afternoon at Cape May Point State Park with a huge Warbler fallout in the Cedars around the parking lot. The trails of Peace Valley and Pennypack Trust brought all the usual suspects plus a nice variety of Sparrows.
