Greetings Fellow Birders and Photographers:

October was a fabulous month. Shorebirds were plentiful, a few warblers were still around and the sparrows were just starting to come in. Fran and I spent a lot of time in Cape May and Stone Harbor, our favorite October places to be. We also visited Peace Valley and Pennypack Trust. Click on the SLIDESHOW tab in the upper right to view the images as a slideshow with music. You can also follow me on Flickr at https://www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected]

Thanks and enjoy-see you on the trails

Another great month of impressive images Harris. I'm late responding this month - had trouble accessing my Comcast account (that's why I'm eliminating it). I like the shore birds, and the smaller perched birds as well. You really get so much detail and the poses are wonderful. Makes viewing each one a pleasure.

i am so glad i was finally able to get onto the site this month for these shots are stunning! several just leaped off the screen: the RC Kinglet, the BT Green, the male Cardinal….leapt off the screen indeed. and love the composition of the red tailed hawk near the end, great energy and intensity. and finally, the swamp sparrow with the berry, delicious! thank you!
