Greetings Fellow Birders and Photographers:
August was sort of a transitional month with many of the local songbirds quiet or left town.
There was still plenty of action at the Ocean City heron rookery the first week of the month, and shorebirds were plentiful along the Cape May County beaches. Pennypack Trust, Peace Valley and John Heinz rounded out the month of August. To view the images as a slideshow with music, hit the SLIDESHOW tab in the upper right. Enjoy the images and see you on the trails for fall migration. I am now on Flickr (a free and wonderful way to share your images/video's with other photographers from all over the world-here is my Flickr link: https://www.flickr.com/photos/109429237@N03/

Harris, your work reminds me always why i love birds! the strutting piping plover, the unreal looking cedar waxwing, the female tree swallow with a hint of blue that looked like little blue diamonds…

ooh lah lah!! thank you! great music to watch by, also….

Very nice set of images for August, Harris. I especially like the male red-bellied woodpecker, the eastern bluebirds and the shorebirds as well! Very nice processing on the images as well!
