Greetings Fellow Birders and Photographers:
Happy New Year. I hope you and your families are holding up well during these very challenging times. I wanted to share with you some of the images I took during the fall season. We didn't fly anywhere, but made many road trips; a few overnight stays, but mostly day trips to MD, VA. NJ, DE and throughout southeastern PA. You don't have to travel far to observe and photograph wildlife. To view the images as a slideshow, hit the SLIDESHOW tab in the upper right to begin. Let me know what you think and see you on the trails-be careful out there. You can also follow me on Flickr at:

Take care,

I just finished my 1/13/21 comment to PA DEP regarding PennEast so looking at these magnificent images were healing indeed. these portraits are spectacular, the lighting on some, the composition on others and the capture of the essence of some birds, like the ruby crowned kinglet, on some others. a red tail with the remains of a squirrel, a waxwing eating a berry, a stuffed coyote (what was he eating?)....all of them were wonderful, as usual. thank you!

Spectacular pictures! Thanks for sharing and reminding us that we don't have to travel far to find beautiful birds.
